Keep your eyes peeled for the list of objects below, as they should make buying the Megingjord much less of a pain on your pouch. There are a few tricks you can use to obtain more gold, (Link this to gold guide) but one of the easiest methods is farming high-value items before finding Haldor. With the Megingjord equipped, you’ll have an additional 150 added to your inventory size, giving you the ability to carry a lot more when farming materials. At 950 coins, it’s not a cheap purchase, but it drastically increases the amount you can carry.
Once you’ve found Haldor, you’ll want to buy the Megingjord. Haldor is certainly worth the hard work though, as he sells several unique items, and the specific item we’re seeking. Fortunately, he will always be in the Black Forest area of the map, you just need to find him within there, which can be difficult sometimes. The max\item\mass and max\weight lines affect the carrying weight at which your character will start to become affected by the weight of your items, your character will start moving slower, your jumps will be smaller, your fatigue will increase much faster while running and you'll even be.
Finding him isn’t a simple process though, as the procedurally-generated nature of Valheim’s world means he’s never truly pinned down. Now there's some important information that you must know about changing the carrying weight limit. To increase your inventory size, you will need to visit the Haldor who is currently the only merchant in the game.
